GroupWorld.net Example Applications

See below for some example GroupWorld.net applications. Just click on the images below to log on to the examples. To enable other users to log on, simply copy these web pages onto a web server (they are simply html and javascript, so there are no special hosting requirements). You are free to modify these pages in any way.

To customise the examples, you can change the parameters in the options files in the "config" directory of your GroupWorld.net installation. See the README file for more details. If you have some programming knowledge, you can completely customise the applications (or even develop your own). For more information, see the "docs" directory.

Button panel application launcher

A simple application launcher consisting of a panel of buttons embedded in a web page. When a button is clicked on, the application is simultaneously launched on all users' computers and any new users who log on.

Conference room

An example of a conference room containing 3 video windows, with audio and whiteboard in the same page. (Different configurations allow higher numbers of video users).

Math Tutoring Conference room

An example of a conference room with a different layout: 2 large video windows, with whiteboard and text chat. The whiteboard has a math icon library, as an example of how GroupWorld.net can be used for online tutoring.

Groupboard (whiteboard + chat)

A simple whiteboard and chat application, embedded in a web page.
