SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS

Our mission is to prepare students for college by helping them navigate the tests, essays, applications, and research necessary to gain acceptance to their first-choice colleges and universities--and to do so in a way that is engaging, accessible, and affordable to all students.

When schools participate in our partnership offerings, we can do all these thigns. While students can always enroll in our courses independently, offering courses in students' schools is just one way we at The Scholar's Choice strive to make superior test preparation and college admissions information available to more students.

Partnership Details

Each of our school partnerships is designed on an individual basis to fit a single school and its students. Schools that participate in our partnership program gain many benefits: participating schools can choose between a 5% discount for every student who enrolls or choose that a 5% rebate per student who enrolls be returned to a sponsoring school group, such as a parent or student organization.

We will also work with schools, free of charge, to train teachers, students, and parents in the use of our free platform for creating and sharing interactive lessons and exercises, creating class pages, and grading students.

Further, we work with our partner schools to design schedules that are convenient for their students and work with guidance counselors, helping them to keep track of their students throughout the course. When schools partner with us, their students can sign up for classes at their school and attend the classes with their friends.

Our instructors will work with each school's guidance staff and administration to understand that school's needs and meet them. If you are an administrator, guidance counselor, or parent interested in getting a program started at your school, please make arrangements to speak with us by emailing info@thescholarschoice.com. We can tailor our programs to the needs of any school while achieving our mission to provide value, access, and results.

The Scholar's Choice will also work with sponsoring organizations to host a college admissions information evening for students and parents, with a presentation given by a graduate of an Ivy League college; The Scholar's Choice does not charge for this event, though a sponsoring group may choose to charge a fee for attendance, with all proceeds going to that group.

In order to obtain these benefits, The Scholar's Choice asks that the school or sponsoring group provide space for the classes (one classroom for 32 hours per course) and help to publicize the course by distributing flyers or posting an announcement in a school newsletter.

If the school wishes to hold a college admissions information night, The Scholar's Choice asks that the school provide space for the event (usually a cafeteria or theater for 3 hours), a projector and screen for the presentation, and again, help publicizing the event.
